Tourism is very under-developed at the lake. That is now beginning to change. Below, we highlight
Bayano Adventure, the first tourist facility to open on Lake Bayano. We have visited it and think the Panamanian entrepreneurs are doing a great job. As other opportunities become available, we will include them in days to come. Secondly, we offer a view of a nearby attraction, the river port of Puerto Coquira on the Rio Bayano and the island of Chepillo.
Bayano Adventure has something for everyone! You can tour the lake by boat and eat lunch on an island. You can hike or ride your trail bike on a path through the jungle. You can even milk the cows at the dairy farm! read more
Puerto Coquira and Isla Chepillo - Puerto Coquira is an ocean port on a river! Isla Chepillo is a tiny island in the Pacific, beyond the mouth of the Bayano River. They are both unique and well worth a visit! read more
