Fully titled, located on the only paved road on the Lake other than the Inter-American highway. The property lies about 8 kilometers (5 miles) from the Inter-American.
80% of the Lake’s total waterfront and the land adjoining are part of a comarca, an area set aside for Panama’s indigenous people and can not be sold, thus significantly reducing both potential commercial competition and over-commercialization of the Lake at the same time. However, the Lake itself is open to all and its use is not restricted.
Rural beauty with all the amenities of a first-class city within a short drive.
The planned four-lane extension of the Inter-American highway from Pacora to Chepo will further reduce travel times. An extension to the Lake is planned for future years.
The property is located at the end of the paved road, thus providing privacy.
The lake is maintained in support of a hydro-electric plant that provides 12% of Panama’s electricity. The lake’s security is not in question and its level is controlled.
Electricity, Internet, paved road, cell phone coverage are all available. Municipal water is currently available at the property, but we recommend drilling a well if any substantial development is planned.
